Abstract (English) |
A stream cipher is a symmetric encryption algorithm which use a pseudo-random sequence(keystream) generator. Nonlinear combiner generator is one of general keystream generators for certain stream ciphers. This generator is composed of several LFSRs and a nonlinear function. Fast correlation attack is one of the popular attacks for keystream generators.M. J. Mihaljevic, M. P. C. Fossorier, and H. Imai have proposed the improved fast correlation attack which is based on the iterative decoding algorithm. In this paper, we propose an improved method which can be widely applied. In detail, the method is applicapable to attacking multi LFSRs. |
