学会名：電子情報通信学会技術研究報告 日程：不明 場所：不明 一定期間のみサービスを行うWebサーバ上のトラヒックは，サービスの開始直後と終了直前に急激に増大する傾向がある．従来のWebトラヒック解析について提案されている手法のひとつに，トラヒックに非定常Poisson過程を仮定し，強度関数をFourier級数展開したうえで，そのFourier係数をパラメータ推定する手法がある．しかし，前述のような特殊なトラヒックにこの手法を適用すると，推定する係数の数が多くなってしまう．このような場合，強度関数の仮定に，サービス開始直後と終了直前のトラヒックの性質を予め盛り込む，というアプローチが考えられる．そこで本研究では，強度関数に予め仮定として盛り込む関数形として指数関数を取り上げ，パラメータ推定の性能との関係を，シミュレーション実験を通して考察する． |

Suppose web servers with certain service period. Their traffic often drastically increase around opening and closing times of services. One of the conventional methods for World Wide Web (WWW) traffic analysis has been to estimate coefficients under the Fourier series expansion of the density parameter where the nonstationary Poisson process is assumed. However, the number of coefficients can be huge if this method is applied for analysis of traffic of the web servers with certain service period. One of approaches for this problem can be to prepare the other functions to express the increased traffic around opening and closing services. This paper assumes the exponential functions to express the traffic under opening and closing services and examines the relationships between these functions and parameter estimation performances by some numerical simulations. |
