In this paper, we describe prediction of labels corresponding to feature vectors for semi-supervised learning. The prediction is based on a consistent estimator which is a solution of a likelihood equation. At first, we assume some conditions, and show the existence of such consistent estimators. Secondly, we analyze asymptotics of consistent estimator-based prediction on condition that a loss function is given by a log loss, and theoretically show how much prediction error is reduced by using unlabeled data in addition to labeled data. |
