Abstract (English) |
Spatially coupled codes have been proved to have BP thresholds approaching the MAP threshold of its underlying codes over BEC. This \threshold saturation" phenomenon is observed in many kinds of channels and communication problems. In this paper, application of spatially coupled codes to erasure relay channel is considered. It is shown that punctured spatially coupled LDPC codes universally achieve the theoretically achievable region of the channel parameters when the rate of the codes are xed and node degrees increase. Then, such a fact enables us to simply encode the capacity achieving code for given channel parameter. |
