Abstract (English) |
There are many research on type-I hybrid selective-repeat ARQ method with finite receiver buffer. But the theoretical limit of throughput is not studied when the size of the receiver buffer is finite. The theoretical limit of throughput is studied when the size of the receiver buffer is infinite. So in order to investigate the performance of the proposed methods, the throughput of the proposed methods are compared with the theoretical limit of throughput with infinite receiver buffer instead of the theoretical limit of throughput with finite receiver buffer. In this research we use Markov decision processes(MDP) to represent the type-I hybrid selective-repeat ARQ with finite receiver buffer. And we propose an algorithm which compute the theoretical limit of throughput of the type-I hybrid selective-repeat ARQ with finite receiver buffer. |
